TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions are the standard terms for providing baked goods and cakes to customers who are consumers by Cakes Love Spice.
THE CONTRACT
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and provision of baked goods and cakes by us and will form the basis of the contract between Cakes Love Spice and you. Before submitting an order, please ensure that you have read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Nothing provided by us, including, but not limited to, sales and marketing literature, price lists and other documents, constitutes a contractual offer capable of acceptance. Your order constitutes a contractual offer that we may, at our discretion, accept.
A legally binding contract will be created between us and you upon our acceptance of your order, as indicated by our order confirmation.
ORDER AND ADVICE
All Orders for cakes will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. When placing your order, the following information will be required and understood:
CAKE DESIGN
The cake designs are based on what is in season and are at Cakes Love Spice's discretion. Unless otherwise discussed, we design our cakes according to the seasonal items in stock.
By ordering a cake from Cakes Love Spice, you approve of our signature style and professional choice of colour, flowers, and seasonal decorations.
BESPOKE CAKES - COPYRIGHT
When ordering a bespoke cake, the customer approves the interpretation of his or her bespoke requirements and amendments to the design during the order process. Written/verbal descriptions will explain what the customer will receive.
If you want to use another cake designer's existing design as inspiration, we are happy to be inspired, but we will not create a replica of the design. Copying someone else's original cake design without their permission is an act of copyright infringement. Therefore, we respect other cake artists, and our cake designs should be respected.
ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please note that all of our cakes are handmade in a kitchen which handles GLUTEN, MILK, EGGS, SOYA, SESAME, NUTS, SULPHITE, and ALCOHOL. We cannot guarantee that our products are free from the above.

Cakes Love Spice accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our baked goods.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
Cakes Love Spice offers a delivery service across London. The charge will be calculated for each order depending on the distance from our kitchen in SE16. Someone must be present to accept the delivery.
You can collect orders from our kitchen in SE16. Collection times will be confirmed upon order placement. We are closed for collections and deliveries on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Cakes Love Spice accepts no liability for any damages to your cake once you have collected it.
PAYMENT
We require payment in full at the point of order unless otherwise agreed upon. We will provide an order quote, which you can confirm and pay electronically. Bank transfer makes payments.
CANCELLATION
As we hand-bake everything to order, we can only guarantee a full refund of your order if we receive your order cancellation instructions at least 48 hours before the collection or delivery time. Orders cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will receive a 50% refund. Any other cancellation refunds will be entirely at Cakes Love Spice's discretion.
We may cancel your order immediately by giving you written notice if we cannot provide the cake due to an event outside our control.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
If, for any reason, you are not happy with your order, please contact us immediately at [email protected]
To qualify for a refund and for us to investigate the reason for the fault, please provide photographic evidence within 24 hours of receiving the order. If the product is faulty or misdescribed, we will correct the mistake, provide a replacement, or offer a refund, subject to our investigation.
Refunds will only be issued using the original payment method. For any refunded items, we will immediately regain legal ownership of the goods.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions, the Contract, and the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed by the law of England and Wales.
As a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law in your country of residence. Nothing in these terms takes away or reduces your rights as a consumer to rely on those provisions.
Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between you and us relating to these Terms and Conditions, the Contract or the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, as determined by your residency.
